My mom just texted me saying that Biden will announce victory at 1600? Any news on that or is everyone still calm and waiting for the courts? I don't think he can do that while things are contested like this.

Maybe I’m too tired or still drunk .. but I don’t get why either side cares about the other side declaring victory? Shouldn’t they be more interested in whether the other side concedes? Who gives a shit about declaring victory until the counts are official and electoral votes are cast/assigned (or whatever happens with electoral votes).
