Dear Joe,

Congratulations on your ability to make a speech. That personal victory has shocked and amazed the nation and the American people.

When you discuss how our nation must be healed, and that Americans must not be treated as enemies it has never been Trump or his supporters who felt their neighbors were anything other than friends and fellow country men.

It has never been Trump supporters who have been so consumed with hate they abandoned their families and their friends over their political beliefs. It has never been Trump supports who called the other side maggots - or as you yourself said ugly. It has never been Trump supporters who openly call for millions of Americans to be put on political watch lists, to be put in reeducation camps, or to be exterminated.

Without question, the parents who have been forsaken by their more-liberal children continue to love their children. The heartache these parents must feel to lose contact with someone the love must be tremendous.

Trump supporters love their country and their fellow countrymen. The hatred that has put this very Union at risk as emanated from one side and one side only. No soundbite can heal the wounds your supporters and you yourself have caused. These wounds run deep, and you cannot expect Trump's base to simply forget and embrace the very people who openly call for their destruction.
