You pay more taxes but you get more value out of tax based programs. Already have a successful job and good income? FREE COLLEGE. Using cheap natural gas to heat your home and cook? Wind farms as far as the eye can see giving you super expensive electricity. Been driving the same truck for 20 years that is repairable? Get a tax credit to purchase an electric vehicle that you can't afford. Plug it in to your all electric home and watch the meter spin as your bank account runs dry. Too poor now to pay your mortgage? Public housing will go into your nice neighborhood. Live in squalor with drug dealers and prostitutes as you watch them shoot up right next to a $500k house that the owner is about ready to put a gun in his mouth. But you can also go back to school, if you're lucky you can get a job that has a pay scale in which you pay 50% taxes. Racism will defeated as anything you say will be deemed racist and you will get to live in a jail cell - for free! Not sure what sounds bad about this.

I agree. But Biden did get 4 years of what is effectively free advertising and attack ads from the entire media. To most Biden voters, he appears to be just the placeholder for the phrase "not Trump", as in voting for "Trump" or "Not".
