Not all machines are the same. In Erie County PA, we used fat tip sharpies during the primary. We changed to thinner tip during the General because of bleed through. I am a poll worker. All precincts used the same type of markers.

Two of her friends who always vote in person gave their names and addresses to the poll worker to get their ballot and were told they'd already voted absentee. They complained to Sec of State. Small towns in areas that historically vote red are not immune.

It’s volunteers in most cases. Anyone concerned can volunteer, I’ve done it. People that go poll watch are not volunteers and are pretty useless outside needing to secure a room/bag/etc overnight. New machines are tamper proof and ballots are usually tracked by address with a random number. Cheating isn’t really easy on a mass scale, if the Dems are cheating to pull this off it would have to be the admin of elections in which it would be nearly impossible to prove.

I was also given a sharpie and I live in PA. I had to stand outside in the cold for 2 hours waiting to vote and by the time I got in I was tired and late for work. My guard was down. A lady asked what party I was affiliated with and my dumbass told her Republican; to which I got a sharpie...

Why can't we have one way to vote in this country? In Georgia we vote on a touchscreen and then it prints out our ballot. We visually verify the ballot and then scan it in to be counted. That's after we show a valid I.D. to even get this far. Then if there is a recount, they can go back to the printable ballots to verify. It's not rocket science. Oh wait, I live in a red state. I guess if our state ever goes blue they'll pass out a box of crayons and we can take our chances.

Why can't we have one way to vote in this country? In Georgia we vote on a touchscreen and then it prints out our ballot. We visually verify the ballot and then scan it in to be counted. That's after we show a valid I.D. to even get this far. Then if there is a recount, they can go back to the printable ballots to verify. It's not rocket science. Oh wait, I live in a red state. I guess if our state ever goes blue they'll pass out a box of crayons and we can take our chances.
