Despite being the fasted growing party in the US right now, the Libertarian party flopped this year

(2000) Harry Browne 380K votes

(2004) Micheal Bardnarik 390K votes

(2008) Barb Barr got 520K votes

(2012) Gary Johnson Got 1.2 million votes

(2016) Gary Johnson got 4.4 million votes in the 2016 election

(2020) Jo Jorgensen got 1.1 million votes (so far)

It's still a lot of votes for a third-party candidate, but it seems like the party is dying

Are the Democrats trying to steal libertarian votes now?!

The candidate this year is the libertarian version of a RINO.

All libertarians are libertarian versions of rinos.

Libertarians are open borders globalists who support all the anti-American trade deals that the rinos support.

they dont support trade deals, they support open trade and dissolution of labor laws which will return jobs back here in the end. But that will never happen so they just keep talking about muh principals and protest vote for turncoats.

Yea, that's called free trade, and for it to work the other country you are dealing with has to agree to it. Which means it has to be a deal.

not at all, government has no business telling companies where they can trade. That's what freedom is. If they want to deal with enemies, then they should be able too, people of course can boycott them for it. That is what free association is all about.

That's globalism. That's why Trump ran. You are more aligned with the Bush family than with Trump. When American troops have to patrol the lands and waterways with taxpayer funded money, so that commerce can occur and those companies can trade, then yes. The government does have a say if companies in American jurisdictions can trade with countries that are compromising our national security.

The moment one of those people get kidnapped the first thing they will do is raise that American passport, not an employee badge from whatever company they work for. The first thing they will want is for the American govt to go save them.

Yeah, FREE TRADE. Which is what you're supporting.

Definitely what Trump is against.

Free and Open trade is what the Bushs want. But it sucks, it's like if you have an "open relationship" and everyone in the neighborhood gets to bang your wife but you're not allowed to bang their wives. We open up, but those countries intelligently do not. They charge us tariffs and wont allow any products that conflict with their products, like cars, but we don't charge them nothing for coming in here.

Having 'open trade' is a deal in itself.

Libertarian party got popular when people found out they are in favor of legalizing weed.

All these states legalizing weed have made the libertarian party irrelevant again.

Damn, the LIbertarian party had potential.

If the GOP legalizes weed, LP would probably die out. GEOTUS has been signing historic peace deals which is something Libertarians fight for.

I used to be a member of the Libertarian Party until Trump 2016.
