You are not going to like it, its part of the federalist principle. A republic of states fostering government closest to the people. Look at what has happened to federal legislation. You really want that goat fuck dictating the rules of your vote? I hate what Democrats and oligarchs like Soros and Bloomberg have done here. It is so much easier to corrupt at the top central control , choke point. They could influence the legislation and bureaucrats with a few million dollars of pocket change instead of the hundreds of millions they need to influence in 50 state governments.
