That one's awesome too. What a great series. And the host friggin' smoked cancer sticks on-screen while he narrated, which would give today's leftists a heart attack if the show were being made today. Love it!

Yeah, I know! Read a biography on Rod Sterling once and, during I think the Korean War (?) he was marching through the jungle and a 'care package' from allies came through the canopy and fkn squashed the guy right in front of him! Was one of the things that led to his appreciation of the 'absurd.' Was a short guy, boxed to prove he was a 'man', etc etc. Secular Jewish, yknow. A good guy, all around. Ray Bradbury wrote some of those episodes. Etc etc. I love the original series. "Monsters on Maybury' is about where we are now, as a country I think....with China / Russia /God knows...funding and supporting various groups within to get us to fight each other. I even have the complete collection of written stories.
