Exactly, they count on people being terribly stupid at not understanding the scale of how fucked up that is. They just throw out "89% turn out" and think it's perfectly acceptable, somehow. Not taking in the scope of the statistical significance of that.

If I submitted an answer 5.5x σ over ... it would be wrong 100% of the time.
