This 100%. I'm 34 now and from 25 and on I've had a chip on my shoulder against everyone above a certain age (not bashing the greatest generation - love my grandpa) because I've felt there has been an incredible political complacency and a reduction in our quality of life. Now is my chance to better the world, my children will never look at me down the road and wonder why Dad stood by and let the communists win.
Despite its ups and downs, my quality of life has been better than 99.99% of all human beings who have ever lived. I've reaped the benefits of America's affluence and peace.
The way I see it, I've accumulated a huge debt of gratitude to this country and our ancestors. Everyday in a free America is a gift I haven't earned. Giving my life for this country in defense of evil is the least I can do to repay the debt.

I am one of those if you saw my stuff you might say I'm also more than prepared. But even though I have been super involved with my faith since I got baptised again on my birthday 3 years ago. I pray I will have the spiritual strength if it must come to that. I don't think I'm prepared spiritually sometimes.
