The United States has grown to be a world superpower and we have often known it as a nation but it's not and that's why it's a shit show. Since we are a republic, the states have incredible power over their elections. We clearly and obviously have the technical know how to run smooth elections yet certain states purposefully devolve their processes to resemble those of third world nations so they can cheat. This issue isn't resolvable without a constitutional amendment I believe and until we do that we are basically an alliance of some first world states with some third world entities and we are always going to be at each other's throats. These blue states also constantly disenfranchise their own voters with the cheating yet nothing is ever done as it seems that there is no recourse for people cheated by their own state.

State's electoral votes should be determined by the majority of counties whose favor is towards a particular presidential selection, each county getting one vote going to the state for a tally.

When shit holes like Wayne county in Michigan are reduced to a single vote among the other counties of the state when determining the state's electoral votes, it stops this nonsense.
