Because they don't want to add more electoral votes to Trump. They need the narrative to be that Trump is way behind and Biden is about to hit 270, and they need that narrative to be maintained as long as possible to help enable the steal. If they actually called Georgia, North Carolina, Alaska, and Pennsylvania for Trump then people would see that Trump is actually ahead of Biden. That's something that the media cannot allow the people to understand or know about, and it's also the reason why they called Arizona for Biden incredibly early despite the current evidence seeming to suggest that Trump will actually win once the final vote is tallied.
To be blunt there's no way this whole thing hasn't been coordinated explicitly to cause this sort of chaos and confusion and to undermine the integrity of the election. Thankfully we have ACB so if it does end up going to the courts we're still good.
One thing to remember though, no matter what the media says they are not the ones that determine the outcome of the election. The actual final day for tallying the vote and getting everything accounted for is January 6th, it's just that in all previous elections we've never really needed to pay attention to that because there was a clear winner on election night, something we don't have now because of the predictable problems (and fraud) that comes with the mail in ballot BS that so many of these Dem cities and states have been pushing.
