Oh man this is going to be a Rollercoaster to read but ill try my best.

For me, I used to be an uber super athiest agnostic type. I browsed r/ politics every day. Stephen Colbert was my kinda guy. For me it all started this one day a ways out before I had this suicidal break I never told anyone about except just mentioning it here when people ask about my redpill story. I was an athiest and I was I. My room in a depression begging a God "if there was one" i said to myself, that if I ever came into possession of a large sum of money that I would promise him that I would do whatever I could with it to do good things for the world.

After I forgot about that by a ways I had this really dark time in my life and to be frankly honest with you I was going to commit suicide that night. By gunshot if youra details person lmao. That night I was running through my head what I believed 110% was going to be my last thoughts on this earth. A thought popped into my head and it was about youtube. I started thinking about how youtube was really what kept me going longer than I thought my sanity would make it. So I promised myself I was going to wait until that weekend was over and I was going to spend it watching youtube before I pulled my plug on this joint so to speak. I was probably 17 or 18 at the time. Anyway, in that weekend was when a jie rogan podcast came up. I dont watch him now but back then he popped up in my recommendations. This guy named Jordan peteson was on. Talking about cleaning your room, and all these things. It was so interesting to me I ended up not dying that weekend but I made it to summer vacation. After that summer wrapped up school started again. I was in a major that I didn't like and was too hard. Let's just say somethings blame revealed to me, and I switched degrees overnight to a business degree. From there thus strae sequence of events happened and I ended up learning so much about money that it woke me up that maybe my call to God had been answered and he saved me that dark weekend just so I could live to learn some of tha key information. So good infact that I dropped out of business school because I was so far ahead it was a joke. And everyone stared getting brainwashed.

And THATS about when I figure I'd ask the same question you just asked me. "How do I get closer to this god guy?" And let me tell you it been a trip god got close to me without even needing a bible. The great thing about following the one true God is that he is the only real one. He doesn't need a book but he will use a book if he wants. I want to be very clear here, I never once opened and ready bible and I accepted that God was real, and that he is more than me. I can't win a fight against a creator. So I started watching youtue videos about the bible and about Jesus. Trying to figure how what happened to him and this is how I learned that to get closer to God you can do several things and you will have to do them. You have to firmly believe in him with your entire heart mind and soul. I mean it too. He didnt even reveal himself to me until I was staring into the face of the abyss of death itself. You really have to believe it. Believe so much that you're willing to totally give up control and let God steer you n the right direction. You also have to move away from darkness. Moving away from darkness means you're moving away from the light. Jesus said himself he was the truth and the life. The light in the darkness. He said to repent and turn from your whicked ways. Whats a whicked way? That's right when ai decided to purchase my first bible so I could figure out. Once all the darkness is gone you will be filled with the holy spirit.

If you actually sit down. In private by yourself and have a conversation with God. Even if its just in your mind, God hears it. He's everywhere all the time. Ask him with youre entire heart mind and soul to reveal himself and he will. Sounds a bit wild at first but my life changed forever after I did that.

But now if you REALLY want to get even closer to the almighty, you have to pick up your cross and follow him to get let into the kingdom of heaven for eternal life. You need to do everything I said earlier. Get all the darkness out of your life, then go spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the creatures so maybe they can be saved too. By doing this, theyll probably eventually kill you just like they did Jesus. But you will live because you'll be granted eternal life. They killed Jesus 2000 years ago and more people know about Jesus than knew about him when he walked the earth. He has been killed, yet lives.

Thats my understanding so far at least. Keep in mind the bible says that all men have fallen short of the glory of God, that means we're all going to hell. Every one of us are equally as bad as satan in gods eyes. God didn't create the world to send you to hell though. He created the world and made hell too so that he could send his son, knowing he would die so that he could open the window for us to get out. God is the light, if you move away from light you move towards darkness. God made hell because he loved us enough to set us free.

So if you love God, follow his commandments and accept what he tells us to do, you'll be saved. There is no monetary value attached to eternal salvation. I dont think you have to go to church or any of that. You can if you want but imo most of the churches can be corrupt although there is still many that aren't because I see a lot of pastors still that preach the word correctly. Its more about spreading the good news about Jesus to everyone. They need to hear, we have to try to save the sinners. At least inform them that there is a way to be saved through jesus. He came to save the sinner, the bad man. They need to hear about him or we're not getting into the eternity. Thats why Jesus wants us to pick up our crosses. Everyone who doesnt follow jesus as their lord and savior and follows his commandments is a child of Darkness and they will burn in hell. Muhammad lied to the Muslims about the injil, the Hindus have it all wrong. The catholics will probably burn in hell. Jesus said to follow him. He didnt say to follow the christains, catholics, muslims or Hindus lmao. Most of the christains will burn in hell. Many have not held the commandments but thats okay because theyre is still time to repent and be born again! You have to be born again I should add. To get filled with the holy spirit you have to be born again. You are not supposed to be the same person you were before. When you repent and turn from the darkness, you can't go back or your burning in hell. You have to eventually be free from sin. Thats how you abide in the light.

I went pretty deep into this one but I figured I'd answer your question and get into it a but more because I know we have a lot of athiest pedes I love so dearly that need Jesus! We all need Jesus. There's nothing wrong with you athiest pedes you're just wrong about God not existing lmao. Once you figure it out you cant unsee it. Where did the big bang come from? What happened before that? Most people don't know still to this day. Yet I do! It was created by the almighty. Spoken into existence by the word ornthe lord. At the beggining of the bible it says so. The bible starts off right smack at the beggining. Who's the author of the bible? It doesn't say lmao. Its Gods book. Written by God through men. Often damaged men engulfed in darkness who he saved.

Without the the almighty and my bible the world would he collapsing around me and I wouldn't even know why. Jesus knew why, he predicted it because he is the all knowing son of God, in the flesh. Once you know God, seeing all the darkness perverting our land is what you expected. God says directly to have no fear except for fear of the lord. He also says fesr for the lord is the beggining of wisdom and let me tell you, that part isn't a joke either. I thought I was wise until I feared the lord and then I learned what real wisdom was like. No one beats Gods wisdom. God already knows the end to this story, he already knows it all. How it started, how it ends. Even with our free will he gave us, he still knows everything we're going to do in the future. All knowing and everywhere all the time. Glory to God!
