I miss the early 2000's internet. I miss all the gross, gory and degenerate shit that was one 4chan and many other vulgar sites. I miss MySpace and Newgrounds. Even YouTube was sooooo much better in the beginning. Back in the day before YT, there was an indie flash/video site called AtomFilms or something and there was these flash cartoons of a superhero who's superpower was shitting, shitting was such amount and velocity that he could fly but everyone hated him because he always left the city and people covered in shit. It sounds like the stupidest, most immature and puerile thing you could ever imagine but as a kid, I thought it was one of the funniest things ever. And then there was a site called stickdeath...
The internet used to be an unregulated wild west, a dirty hole-in-the-wall free-for-all and it was so beautiful and piracy.... piracy used to actually be about sharing.
Sadly, I don't think the internet will ever be as free as it once was ever again.
