To be fair, the man show was funny. He gained his notoriety from that, then went full cuck

It was funny, but you could argue much of the comedy happened around him and not directly because of him. He's not like Dennis Leary or Louis CK where they did comedy for a while then had a show but were entertaining/funny on both. In his case he's been carried most of his career by writers.
