Look at Florida. They went from hanging chads to having real-time reporting of vote tallies. And once they booted a corrupt insider who was literally batching absentee ballots in a closet, Florida was ours - because the people’s vote was secured. Not to say they don’t have holes in the system, chain of custody for any non-in-person is non-existent and invite ballot harvesting fraud, but it’s solid.
These states won’t change, because they know what will happen if they actually secure the vote system.
the election system needs a revamp for sure. a voter should at very least be able to audit their OWN vote to make sure its counted and correct.
The sad thing is that it was "revamped" after 2000.
