Election officials say there's 60'000 votes left in Georgia.

Difference is >28'000. Biden needs >44'000 votes to "win".

To win Biden needs >73% of these to go for him to win.

Biden needs >44'000 votes to win. He'll get 60'000 exactly.

Riddle me this: how do election officials know how many outstanding votes remain? After all, not everyone who mails in a vote returns one, and not every person who registers votes. So, how does the figure of "votes left" even come about?

Similarly, when the media projects, "90% votes reported," where does that number come from?

What annoys me is that media outlets claimed Georgia (might've been N. Carolina) had 99% reported. The goal post moved from 99% to 90% for no explicable reason, and it's what had me questioning this stupid percent ever since.
