I'd be wary of Russia, they've done plenty of shady shit in the past. Them being better than US democrats doesn't really make them good. Personally I'd suggest looking at Eastern Europe. Belarus is fucked right now and Ukraine is somewhat war-torn but Poland's a solid option. The Baltics aren't bad but too willing to cuck to the EU. The wages are usually small but if you can work an American job from home, you'd be able to live a fairly good life.
