I like that idea, maybe give everybody a number, when the ballot prints out it has that number embeded into the ballot and have other security features. You take your ballot and vote, your number then can be entered into a computer with who you voted for. When they come back and if there are any questions they can send out either papers asking you if you voted for this person, call them like the irs and we can get vetted by ssn, or come and speak to them face to face.
If they have these real id's they can do shit with it.
I say REAL ID because, it proves you're a citizen. No illegal vote, no "Federal Limits Apply" bullshit like California. It prevents dead voters from appearing on polls as well.
Hell, print out "voter dollars with a unique serial number", equal to the number of registered voters. One vote, one voter dollar. The ledger can be tracked for the lifetime of that voter dollar
