I know this isn’t the right place for this but I don’t know who else to turn to. I woke up today out of the clear blue with bad knee discomfort, had no pain in there prior, literally zero. The pain is on the side of the knee. I’m 25 and I do stay active, gym 5-6 days a week. Appreciate any help

Inside or outside of the knee?
Outside
Could be tight IT band, meniscus, or LCL. feel the outside of your quads just above the knee. If it’s really tight there try to foam roll there. Your IT band could be tight due to injury/overwork/muscular imbalance.
If it feels like it’s more inside the joint it may be meniscus related/LCL related. In which case you would want to see a physician.
Now, having said that, if this just started up and it’s not too painful take a few days off and rest and relax. See if that clears it up.
Okay thanks for the response Pede
You have 3 days to live, condolences.
Lol no man this is not good.. Sleepy Joe is currently more mobile than me and he’d beat me in any kind of physical battle
Tendonitis
Yep. Lots of cancer. RIP or rub some dirt on it.
Sounds like strain. You are still young but as you get older more and more of these mysterious overuse injuries will appear with more and more frequency. Welcome to adulthood, expect your first grey hair to appear at any time within the next 7 years.
Thanks for the response. With what’s happening now with the election I’ll have grey hair by next week
WebMd says you have knee cancer
