The problem with Islam is that it is an entire “religion” (I use this term loosely with Islam) built around lying and deceiving believers and opposers as well. Islam has no qualms with deceiving your opposers until the last possible minute then stabbing them in the back. This is verifiably encouraged as part of the religion.
So knowing this, you can try and believe some guy who claims he wants to change Islam to be less radicalized, but at the end of the day can you really trust any Muslim?
