To be fair a lot of them were raised with leftist values pushed upon them—“you’re the victim, whitey is the bad guy” etc. etc.

They see themselves as the oppressed and therefor feel entirely justified for what they’re doing. What they fail to see is that as long as they view themselves as being “the oppressed”, they’ll never gain the agency to actually escape from their mental prisons.
