If the election is tied/undecided by the electoral college, then it goes to the House of Representatives. But each state (all of the members together) only gets one vote. So although the House is controlled by Dems, the Republicans have more states.
From the Constitution:
Article II, Section 1:
...the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President...
...in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote...
That refers to the members of the House of Representatives - we call a member of the House e.g. Representative Smith. So it is saying that the entire group of representatives from a state get together and cast one agreed upon vote.
Do we still have a majority of state delegations? There were a couple states where the dems just needed to flip one seat to take the state. I guess since we didn’t lose any seats, we should be ok, but checking. The Dems are still counting, it may impact some races we thought were won.

Anyone who wins the election today will not take office until next year, so any voting on this election will be with the current members.
