While I like Shapiro sometimes, he seems to be an insanely bad judge of figures. For example he claimed Maggie Habermann was one of the best journalists out there, until recently where now he rips her as a partisan hack (she always was) but never mentions that he was incredibly wrong on that.

Anyway, Matt Gaetz is actually incredibly smart and he realizes Washington is just the new Hollywood for a lot of America. He treats it as such, and he is a good showman that competes with the majority of the loonies on the Left that do the exact same thing for their base. He is definitely not on drugs and just has a really good understanding of how Washington works.
