Isn't this what Pelosi was drooling over?
Except she said that every DELEGATE gets a vote, not every state.
That means Dems win, since they have the majority.
Yes, this is their whole plan in fact. Cause an illegitimate election, fall back on the House of Reps to choose President.
in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice.
So, is the above clause saying "each state" having one vote OR "the representation from each state" having one vote.
I do believe you are correct.
The original framers of the constitution, who designed the electoral college, would not have wanted the majority of reps from one region to have an outsized weight in the outcome.
You have changed my mind, and you know what, I bet this is why Trump is so confident. You see -- he KNOWS that "The Crypt Keeper" (thanks @crusty_curmudgeon) has clearly misinterpreted the meaning of the clause.
I believe the intent was that within each state, the reps get to choose 1 vote, and in the end there only 50 votes, of which Repubs have a majority.
Are you certain the House still maintains a State-wise majority of Republicans?
Honestly, my feeling is this needs to be kept quiet, otherwise if the dems realize this too quickly they'll find another cheat.
Best if Trump springs it on them.
One delegate per state. Steve Bannon has been explaining this process all week. Tune into his War Room livestreams daily on Facebook. It’s gold information that you need to hear. He’s 100% already set in stone Trump won.

This is why we needed the Supreme Court.
Its 100% state delegations and not individual delegates.
