I was registered as a libertarian for a hot minute back in about 1993. I switched to no voter affiliation (do not switch to independent...that's an actual party) after seeing the futility of the Libertarian cause.
Even still, I would vote for the R pres cand and maybe for congress seats....and only did the L for local stuff. After 1 or 2 elections cycles, I realized that it was pointless....and now in these results we see that some of this Lvotes may screw Trump, they may have also screwed quite a few close House/senate races.
It IS annoying that after 40 years...people still fall for the Libertarian party as a voting ticket. their numbers are still static <10%. LIBERTARIANS...STOP FUCKING IT UP!
I see that in the past few years though that there has evolved libertarian anarchists, and libertarian leftists...which is just mind blowing...but..you can't really lump 'libertarians' as friends of R, since a significant # may actually be leftist 'libertarians'.
