try http://familysearch.org , a free geneology site. You can search by name, location, dob, etc, etc. I been using it to get social security death indexes with hopes to build a program if a michigan foia went through (so I wouldn't have to access their website every 4 seconds for a month-anything faster than 4 seconds could signal a ddoc attack). But it appears someone is way ahead of me in terms of data collection and processing.
