Andromeda was awful but not for his lack of trying and excellent acting. Some good concepts but it all collapsed in the later series doing the same kind of thing as Lexx bogged down on the same planet.
Lexx is good too but it takes a while to get over the low budget. It ends up being increasingly hilarious as it approached Red Dwarf. Red Dwarf started to suck though in the end when they introduced a tart. Lexx had a tart too from the start, worked well but they replaced her half way through with fat lips, regardless she did make up with a better personality.
Reminds me of that star gate and others (the head of Atlantis between seasons). Women are the real drop outs but not all fail to stay with it. Props to Carter for sticking with it.
I see him more as Captain Dylan Hunt then Hercules. I watched both growing up, so I don't know why.
