True. It’s near impossible to create the kind of infrastructure needed to launch an app like Twitter without significant investment. The running costs would be sky high too.

Capex vs opex.

Most apps are going to utilize the pay as you go model, which has the benefit of scale without the initial investment costs of capex.

The only problem is, the metal isn’t really yours so the control aspect is gone.

Tough spot for new platforms to be in, especially conservative media sites.

Pedes, this is a great and timely idea. It can be done. But we need to manage a freedom platform much like thedonald.win. We are in real life info warfare, seriously: 4th gen for real. If they could, the globalist oppressors would take this site down too.
