If they were really just duplicating the ballots, then why arent the ones that the people are reading off of being marked as invalid? I can't see any invalid or void markings and the person is just reading and flipping over. No mark, no stamp...nothing. The only reason not to mark an invalid ballot void, is that you still plan on using it. They can copy ballots in the open under the disguise of duplicating them and conveniently count them both.

also in seperate stacks, the original must stay with the duplicate yet they are clearly not doing that

Yes, I’ve worked on elections here in Australia and if someone made a mistake with their ballot and it had to be reissued we had to write “SPOILT” in big letters across it and put it in a separate (sealed) box so that it would be included in the count when we reconciled the number of ballots at the end.
