They always think of themselves as superior in intellect and superior to the Right, in general.
Thinking that their side is committing fraud is too much for many of them and they just deny it.
After this idea popped in my mind i read up on it. TDS is seeming like a very specific form of CogDis. I think its why they cant have Trump supporting friends, your existence is an affront to their beliefs.
You can show them evidence of Trump isnt racist, doesnt matter and they double down.

I've "lost" all my left-leaning friends since I went off 4 years ago, just prior to the election saying: • Trump is going to win, and it won't even be close • Unimaginable corruption and evil will soon come to the surface • He will go down as the greatest president in history and the savior of the Free World
When he won running away....crickets When obvious corruption and collusion kept coming to the surface.....crickets When massive election fraud is revealed and POTUS is proven to have won in a landslide......crickets When the worst of all this starts coming out soon after......you can imagine
TDS is a helluva drug, indeed.
I dont throw the word friend around. So this really sucks for me. I just cant wrap my mind around such certainty, especially judging people\situations that we dont personally know\ have experienced.
I believe if Trump was doing what the dems are doing with the election most of us would drop support. It would be heartbreaking but if the evidence showed it, we'd eventually accept it. Anyone that desperate for power is the last person who should have it.
