Yeah, they really can't handle factual information so they actively do their best to avoid it because it doesn't match how they 'feel' about the situation. My lib ex-boyfriend was such a fucking pussy he literally used to rant for hours whenever I pointed out errors or outright lies in the garbage he read on Facebook. It was almost like he was talking himself back into believing the lie because the truth made him uncomfortable.
They do that, work themselves up emotionally to fight off facts. We were ourselves down emotionally to take in facts and adjust to them.
