Socialism is broke, in more ways than one.
They need tyrannical power as soon as they can't subsist on giving away what isn't theirs.
And that is the ultimate goal anyway....let society collapse and then tyranny becomes the only solution....for the good of the people, of course. In a nutshell, that is why socialism always leads to communism which always leads to despotism and the death of society.
