Trump has known for 4 years what would happen this election. Midterms was the trial to see how the traps worked. He mentioned in Summer that fake ballots were going to come from foreign countries. He knew about fake IDs. He setup Homeland Security to be in charge of ballot printing. They are tracking everything and once they are given access to view ballots it's over.

I feel the same. Trump was vocally hard on Sessions, but I can’t recall a single complaint he has had about Barr, despite Barr appearing to be doing absolutely nothing. The closest thing I’ve heard from Trump is when he was on Rush for a show somewhat recently and Rush mentioned he’d heard Barr wasn’t planning on pressing charges for something soon (this was pre-laptop I believe). And to that Trump just said, “if that’s true I’ll be disappointed”.

He said it in a way that led me to believe that Barr did not want to appear partisan and come out with the Durham report or other information until after the election. It's likely that Barr gave him confidence that he will but he needs to wait and hopes Trump wins a second term so he can announce the completion of investigations.
Looking back at how the democrats criticized Trump for banning travel from China, They wanted people to get sick. If the ineligible votes cannot be identified, and enough of them were cast to affect the result, the election has to be redone. That’s because the offending votes, being unidentifiable, cannot be thrown out.
And this is exactly why poll workers in philly purposely separated the identifier portion of the ballots from the ballot part- so their fuckery couldn't be undone.

I feel the same. Trump was vocally hard on Sessions, but I can’t recall a single complaint he has had about Barr, despite Barr appearing to be doing absolutely nothing. The closest thing I’ve heard from Trump is when he was on Rush for a show somewhat recently and Rush mentioned he’d heard Barr wasn’t planning on pressing charges for something soon (this was pre-laptop I believe). And to that Trump just said, “if that’s true I’ll be disappointed”.
There was a rally where Trump was talking about Barr and he kept saying Barr is such a nice guy and that he is respectable. He said it in a way that led me to believe that Barr did not want to appear partisan and come out with the Durham report or other information until after the election. I think you're right on the money. Trump would not be afraid of calling out Barr if he was actually doing nothing. It's likely that Barr gave him confidence that he will but he needs to wait and hopes Trump wins a second term so he can announce the completion of investigations.

Which leads us to other questions, such as whether the original plan could have been to release the pandemic here in the US. I would have though the sting would look similar to a drug sting in that the government conducts an operation in which they control/provider the drugs (illegal ballots) to a bad actor who will then unwittingly sell (use) them?
