The proof is in the primaries. Trump had historic numbers in an uncontested primary. Biden had shit numbers and wouldn't have even made it through the Democrat primaries had several other candidates not strategically pulled out at the right time.

I’m In Arizona and McCain won it, but....by way of comparison, my county went like 75% Trump but Obama managed to score like. 34% total.
