Well yes, but that is legally treason to the US and we would be forced to go to war, While I am a Texan who wants to fight, I don't want war with the entire rest of the US of A.
My bad, I thought that Texas was the only State in USA that can secede legally. However I found the answer: Texas has a unique right among states to split itself into five states but not to secede from the United States of America.
On a side note tho: Texas is the ONLY state in the US that can fly it's flag at the same height as the US flag. This is because we were the only state to be a full on country before being annexed into the US.

The only thing saying that Texas cannot secede is a SCOTUS ruling...if you don't recognize the US govt., then you certainly don't recognize its dictates either.
