Yep. It's technically still Google android for the most part, but while carrier roms are generally closed source, you can get open source custom roms. You're still at the mercy of Google if you keep Google apps such as the play store, but with additional effort you can get rid of that too.

I'm in the process of getting a dumb phone. It will replace my very shiny iPhone 11. I see smartphones as nothing more than grand spyware devices we've been duped into carrying with us every moment of the day.

I use Linux on everything but my gaming PC and my phone. It really is a glaring problem that while I can put Ubuntu, Manjaro or Linux Mint on any of my PC's and I can generally do most of what I want no such option exists yet for a lot of smartphones - partly because of driver support issues from what i gather. I have seen people who have de-googled their phones. I'll have to look into that. Now you have all these flag ship handsets that cost the best part of £1000 and you don't even get a plug for your headphones.
Yes it’s due to the proprietary drivers. There are some phones which have open drivers, but their hardware tends to be very dated. Phones are awful besides the OS though. You have proprietary baseband firmware which is at a level below the operating system, and the very nature of a cellphone requires you to connect to a tower, allowing you to be tracked very easily.

Definitely! Technically there is a Ubuntu mobile, but it only works on like 3x different phones or something, super hard to install, and is likely very buggy.
We need new tech companies that can make secure tech. Only problem is tech companies require insane amounts of money to start, and with how fucked funding it, who knows if we'd be able to accomplish such.
One more thing. If you are really tech savvy and still want to use linux for obvious reasons but want to game too, look into VMs/proxmox. Traditionally virtual machines are slow, but they've been getting a lot better. I have a kick ass workstation (i9 + 96gb ddr4 + dual gpu + like 60+ hard drives), I run proxmox as my base OS which is command line only. Proxmox is like a virtual machine host. On top of proxmox I have multiple VMs, mostly linux, with one windows VM for gaming. I gave it 8 cpu cores, a decent amount of ram, and passed through the 2x graphics cards. Results in bare metal performance for gaming, with a main OS of linux. All my data is under linux and other OS. Windows is basically sandboxed to the VM and can't access any of the rest of my network. Best of both worlds. Only downside is you need a really really fast system because you're basically running multiple computers worth of processing on a single system.

Your reasoning is similar to my reasoning up until a certain point. Here's the problem: We are not organized enough to do anything if the need arises. We are splintered through 100 different online communities in an attempt to avoid FB/Twitter overlords but in doing so we have no main place to even communicate with each other. Great point. This is why I have been compiling data of dead people and crosschecking obituaries with voter registration files in MI. I have personally seen enough hard evidence. My heart drops every time the result says "voted in 2020" for a confirmed dead person. Eventually this data will be compiled in a clean and secure enough way to prove this thing hopefully. The Supreme Court is meant not only to uphold and apply the law, but also to judge the law. They have the final say on what is and is not constitutional. If election regulations were created using a process that was not constitutional, as looks to be the case in Pennsylvania and other places, then the SCOTUS has the authority to strike down those regulations.

The easiest way to stop big tech as in Facebook, Twitter is to show that they’re monopolies. That the barrier to entry is so high for competition to start that they must be broken up. At that point, you could get conservative ownership from the breakup, at the very least there is competition for users so censorship by one would be detrimental to its user base.

Hopefully WI and MI should be an easy flip when we recount and purge the voter roll of dead voters. The best outcome would be to take the results presented after Nov 3rd, since we all know they already shuffled the late arrivals into the deck and a recount wont find the ballots harvested from living voters.

The ballots should still be linked to the person who cast them. You can look up who cast the vote, and determine if they are alive.
If there is no name on the ballot and it just says Biden, then the whole election needs redone. At that rate, you could just print ballots and they wouldn't even be tied to a voter.
The envelope is what's tied to the voter. The process is supposed to be in place to reject or validate them before they're open. That's the part where PA is trying to keep observers 50-100 ft away so they can't see the ballot. Then it's just on the one individual doing the counting to accept the ballot with the bad post mark or signature or whatever. Once it's accepted and opened the ballot itself gets mixed in with the rest and doesn't have any way to tie it to the voter. Otherwise you would have a record of who each individual voted for which opens the door for voter intimidation (boss, union, community, family, etc) or vote buying.
It's possible that batches are kept separate so you might have 2000 separate votes counted on one day from one location that you could match up to a tally but that doesn't make it possible to retroactively remove one illegal or fraudulent vote. Significant evidence of fraud after the fact would have to either invalidate a whole batch or the whole state's election

It’s unconstitutional, and will be overturned by the new SCOTUS. If PA wanted to change election law, state legislature has to do so. Any vote they counted that was received after 8pm November 3 will be nullified, despite the PA court ruling.

Also, there's the PinePhone and Librem 5 that are still really, really new and very unstable because of that, but are security focused, linux based, with circuit breakers to the microphone/camera just in case there's any doubt, you can switch off the circuit breakers and know your phone isn't spying on you.
Some Android phones (which is Linux) allow to install another version of Android with no google services whatsoever. It should stop companies spying on you but not the NSA.
Yep. It's technically still Google android for the most part, but while carrier roms are generally closed source, you can get open source custom roms. You're still at the mercy of Google if you keep Google apps such as the play store, but with additional effort you can get rid of that too.

I'm in the process of getting a dumb phone. It will replace my very shiny iPhone 11. I see smartphones as nothing more than grand spyware devices we've been duped into carrying with us every moment of the day.
I won't be able to change the surveillance state. But, I will be able to change how I interact with the surveillance state. I have a fancy PC, with a broadband connection, and high speed wifi in my home. But that is much different. That is me traveling to the internet on my terms.
Having a smartphone on me at all times is the internet traveling to me, and forcing data out of me (whether I like it or not). I will no longer take part in that.
This is what I would like to do, but I've just learned about how bad all this data collection is after I've already set by career path as IT. With my job I can't really get rid of my smartphone cause I need to be accessible by email at all times. I also have to carry a data connected tablet for remote access purposes, so I can sign into systems to fix them.

I use Linux on everything but my gaming PC and my phone. It really is a glaring problem that while I can put Ubuntu, Manjaro or Linux Mint on any of my PC's and I can generally do most of what I want no such option exists yet for a lot of smartphones - partly because of driver support issues from what i gather. I have seen people who have de-googled their phones. I'll have to look into that. Now you have all these flag ship handsets that cost the best part of £1000 and you don't even get a plug for your headphones.
Yes it’s due to the proprietary drivers. There are some phones which have open drivers, but their hardware tends to be very dated. Phones are awful besides the OS though. You have proprietary baseband firmware which is at a level below the operating system, and the very nature of a cellphone requires you to connect to a tower, allowing you to be tracked very easily.

Definitely! Technically there is a Ubuntu mobile, but it only works on like 3x different phones or something, super hard to install, and is likely very buggy.
We need new tech companies that can make secure tech. Only problem is tech companies require insane amounts of money to start, and with how fucked funding it, who knows if we'd be able to accomplish such.
One more thing. If you are really tech savvy and still want to use linux for obvious reasons but want to game too, look into VMs/proxmox. Traditionally virtual machines are slow, but they've been getting a lot better. I have a kick ass workstation (i9 + 96gb ddr4 + dual gpu + like 60+ hard drives), I run proxmox as my base OS which is command line only. Proxmox is like a virtual machine host. On top of proxmox I have multiple VMs, mostly linux, with one windows VM for gaming. I gave it 8 cpu cores, a decent amount of ram, and passed through the 2x graphics cards. Results in bare metal performance for gaming, with a main OS of linux. All my data is under linux and other OS. Windows is basically sandboxed to the VM and can't access any of the rest of my network. Best of both worlds. Only downside is you need a really really fast system because you're basically running multiple computers worth of processing on a single system.

While it's true, we have generally up until now sat on our asses. One of the main reasons for doing so is to preserve optics for Trump's re-election. Now that we have crossed that bridge, it puts us into a precarious position. Do we A) Let things play out and allow the left to demonstrate while the media corrals public opinion? Or do we B) Present our dismay through public demonstration and possibly break up the media's control of the public consciousness?. The answer is not an obvious one...especially considering our enemy no doubt understands this crossroad of decisions that we would inevitably face. The truth of how we should conduct ourselves lays somewhere in between the two extremes presented above. Your reasoning is similar to my reasoning up until a certain point. Here's the problem: We are not organized enough to do anything if the need arises. We are splintered through 100 different online communities in an attempt to avoid FB/Twitter overlords but in doing so we have no main place to even communicate with each other. Not to mention the people we have little to no contact with who don't spend a lot of time on the internet. And not to mention the people on places like FB who if they were aware of the information that is being suppressed from them and had a clear single place to go- would at least provide the "neutral" public opinion needed.

We need to firmly confirm what the undeniable evidence to our claims are. We dont have to get to the bottom of every rabbit hole....we just need to find them and preserve them so that we have an unshakable foundation to stand upon. Theres a lot of disinformation and question marks in the air right now and its disorienting to the ones who arent privy to the tactics of it. Great point. This is why I have been compiling data of dead people and crosschecking obituaries with voter registration files in MI. I have personally seen enough hard evidence. My heart drops every time the result says "voted in 2020" for a confirmed dead person. Eventually this data will be compiled in a clean and secure enough way to prove this thing hopefully. I know someone who is spending $13,500 to do this on a massive scale.

For example, doing the voting again is a choice, which simply involves an action of voting, and people can just vote as they voted for this election. I wonder if this is a way to push or not. I think it is very legitimate theoretically to claim that counting ballets delivered after the election day is unconstitutional. If the state does that, then that's a state's fault. The state has to determine how to do it in order to deliver the election results on the election date or next day. It's not like state can delay the election or extend a few days.

Roberts actions are understandable when you understand who he is. He is an institutionalist. His priority is not actually solving issues of law or justice. Maybe it once was, but it is no longer. The Supreme Court is meant not only to uphold and apply the law, but also to judge the law. They have the final say on what is and is not constitutional. If election regulations were created using a process that was not constitutional, as looks to be the case in Pennsylvania and other places, then the SCOTUS has the authority to strike down those regulations.

The easiest way to stop big tech as in Facebook, Twitter is to show that they’re monopolies. That the barrier to entry is so high for competition to start that they must be broken up. The ballots should still be linked to the person who cast them. You can look up who cast the vote, and determine if they are alive.
If there is no name on the ballot and it just says Biden, then the whole election needs redone. At that rate, you could just print ballots and they wouldn't even be tied to a voter.
The envelope is what's tied to the voter. The process is supposed to be in place to reject or validate them before they're open. That's the part where PA is trying to keep observers 50-100 ft away so they can't see the ballot. Then it's just on the one individual doing the counting to accept the ballot with the bad post mark or signature or whatever. Once it's accepted and opened the ballot itself gets mixed in with the rest and doesn't have any way to tie it to the voter. Otherwise you would have a record of who each individual voted for which opens the door for voter intimidation (boss, union, community, family, etc) or vote buying.
It's possible that batches are kept separate so you might have 2000 separate votes counted on one day from one location that you could match up to a tally but that doesn't make it possible to retroactively remove one illegal or fraudulent vote. Significant evidence of fraud after the fact would have to either invalidate a whole batch or the whole state's election
At least that is my understanding. There may be some variation state to state.

Mark Levin has been sounding this alarm for weeks. The court took the constitutional power from the legislature to change election rules in PA weeks ago. It’s unconstitutional, and will be overturned by the new SCOTUS. If PA wanted to change election law, state legislature has to do so. Any vote they counted that was received after 8pm November 3 will be nullified, despite the PA court ruling.
But how do you sort the ballots received after 8pm from the mixed pool?
Yep. That’s why a re-vote will be necessary. This happened last year for a NC House seat with fraud suspicions. SC will need to order it for these 3-5 states.
