At least in CO each ballot is tracked, and you are proactively informed when your ballot is received and counted. It's still not perfect (who's to say they didn't lie), but it's better than this shit.

Just check me and wife’s ballot status. We are in Spanberger’s district. Site has our registration but does not indicate we voted in 2020 election. I’m guessing just hasn’t been updated yet, would need to see if the same thing shows for other people.
Talked to my friend in CA last night. He went on the CA Secretary of State website to view the status of his mail-in vote. SOS said no record of receiving it. While on the site he looked to see what they had for him the last few elections. Showed he voted in 2018 but he swears he never did.

The NJ "My Election History" portal doesn't show my in-person / "provisional" vote either. Probably just a delay.
