Exactly. Do what you want OP, but depriving your children a future at all because it's a future you don't prefer is selfish. I used to think the same way when I was abused growing up until I found a way out of it and realized even with hardship happiness is still possible.
If we do have to go to war, it should have planning, Opsec, and objective to do the largest harm to the traitors per resources spent. Also loose lips sink ships. Start with people funding all this.... find the head of the snake, media, etc etc.
