Texas had about 165K more votes for President than for US Senator.
We had straight-ticket voting until this election. Democrats tried to block the change, apparently because Democrats were more likely to use the straight-ticket option.
Texas didn't have a US Senate election in 2016. But, if you go back to 2012, 129,629 more people voted for President than for US Senator. In 2008, there were 165,720 more votes for President.
So, this does happen. Some people vote for President, and don't bother to vote for the rest.
Seems likely that those ballots will have senate bubbles filled out when/if they're needed. Foxes guarding the henhouse.
Hmm... almost exactly the same amount of ballots they suddenly "found" after freezing the state for 3 days.
This isn't a narrative changing point, trust me, I've tried.
Moderates and lefties are saying it's because a lot of people don't vote down ballot, they just choose a president. And in a time of mail in ballots and people just trying to vote Trump out, they don't see an issue.
This is a point to be brought up as evidence in court, and needs to be cross checked against historical numbers of people not voting down ballot. But for now, it's not a narrative changer.

They had to fill them out fast. That what this is.
It takes TIME to manufacture that many ballots. If they included the down ballot, it would have taken twice as long.
To help prove this to help challenges, look back to 2016 election results and see if there was no similar pattern. Might have to go back further. Georgia any other state, precinct or city will do.
Some "Ballot Fatigue" or "Ballot Abandonment" is normal. Locally, it was 0.6% blanks in the presidential and 3.33% in the lowest competitive race. That's not a lot though.
