MANUAL RECOUNT! Also a manual check of each ballot to ensure it ties back to a legitimate registration and that there aren't multiple ballots tied to any registration.

Ballots once processed become anonymous, you can't tie a ballot back to a person, its private for a good reason.

That is why a recount of the 'ballots' makes hardly any difference, you need to find invalid and counterfeit ballots and if they had enough real ballots stuffed into the piles it becomes a nightmare.

Short of fingerprinting millions of ballots and seeing why 5000+ of them have some random person's print on them and all marked in nearly the same way.

Ballots in some states have a barcode on them that can be scanned by a poll worker to bring up the registration tied to it, this is the case in Michigan.

Been searching for this.

Yes there are bar codes but they a NOT at any point tied to your ID.

Each ballot at the precinct is tracked but to make sure there are not used etc

When they hand you the ballot it is from a pile and they are not recording which ballot you are handed, they are not scanning it into a DB matching it to you.

It would go against the entire concept of a private vote, that data would and could be leaked.

At this point you are simply wrong. And yes I am talking about Michigan (every state but in this case Michigan).
