Nope not in my America. But I'll speak for it at that time. That is the time that America will take no more... But until then our system still has a chance to function properly without drawing blood
100% but OP responded to someone who told him that we did win. His response "Not unless truth prevails. Sitting here in January saying 'we won' while Joe is in the WH isn't a victory." So in OPs scenario Joe has a chance to be in the WH. I have no intention of letting that happen. I think it will be fine, but in the event that the government doesn't protect our vote, its time to scrap it amd start over. Its our responsibility and duty according to our Constitution
Hear hear! We already won -- and publicly, I might add.
This is now a matter of correcting the record (loathe as I am to use that phrase) to ensure shit like wikipedia doesn't record this anything but a legitimate republican victory. Everyone should consider donating even a little money to the efforts, cause it does matter -- they don't have chinese + big tech money backing them.
i hate to be a stickler on this, but i'd point out that- while tense absolutely does matter- the conjugation you used was indicative past perfect. definitely preferable to indicative or (not that we use it much anymore, but..) subjunctive future, but present tenses would be:
we win
are winning
have won
have been winning
language matters. enjoy, and definitely choose your words carefully; it modulates how you see the world, in what resolution, and with what granularity
Also a Southerner, but my English teachers (beginning in the early grades) drilled us all the time on grammar. Even if we didn't always use the proper forms in everyday speech, we did when we wrote anything. In middle school, we diagrammed sentences till we could handle the most complicated one. Still a grammar Nazi.
I agree with you, but we did win. Use the present tense, because language matters.🙂

Joe will never go to the white house.
He might to sniff Trump's grandchildren
I would pay yuge money to see the secret service take him down when he tried.
Fucking A
Even if he won, he won't go. We know that. Luckily, he didn't win.
“Where in the constituyaknow, where does it say this ihop can’t be a yel-White house? Now tell the house negro I’m ready to order a grandslam”
“Sir this is a bowling alley”
Are you going to allow that to happen when you KNOW he cheated?
Tomorrow at noon there are going to be protests across the country. Give me a second, I will be back with info.

Sorry, I was born in the South, and have a congenital defect when it comes to forming the English language.😁
But you're absolutely right. It's not so much a nation we inhabit, but a language
definitely
