I have not followed politics for a long time but one thing that seemed to be reinforced was that Ohio and Florida were very good representations of how the rest of the country was voting. Seeing how POTUS CRUSHED those states, how can anyone not acknowledge this long accepted point.
These are massive swing states, too - these were the two I thought would be the most competitive. They weren't expecting the turnout. They had hedged their bets on smaller republican leaning states to make up for them

Joe Biden only had a net gain of 4k votes(compared to 2016) in Cuyahoga Ohio. Yet at the same time had a net gain of almost 70k in Wayne County Michigan. That just doesn't work.
