We keep all resources, products, anything manufactured, made, processed, or created outside of a city to ourselves. Or, levy a nice high import tax on them so we can make it worth our while to keep feeding and powering the whiny, respect-less para-cities. Don't worry about exports... the only things para-cities export is pollution, negativity, and democrats.
How do you get general mills, quaker, etc to do that? Only thru truckers. Are they willing to lose their jobs? I don't see this working. We should just go water the tree, and be done with it.
There are a lot of people outside of the major cities who eat. There are a lot of smaller, more local companies who would love to be able to compete. If GMills or Quakes are part of the tree and want to continue business the cities as usual, they can feel free; some places just might not want to do business with them anymore. Having gigantic companies mass produce all of your food isn't really that great an idea anyway.

You guys should do this remember how fast a few cities took care of their riots when the truckers started to refuse to come in.
