I don’t like the sentiment behind “doomer’s get the rope”. We need rational and steadfast people who don’t give up at the first sign of resistance, but I certainly don’t want blind tribalism, progressive-style gatekeeping or ideological purity tests either.

It’s enough to say “keep your hopes up and don’t let the enemy demoralize you, the fight is far from over”, and leave it at that.
