Note the LLC was set up in Delaware (although located in Maine) - the number one state in the nation for corporate fraud because they do not automatically give records to the federal government. Like Nevada and Wyoming(?) they are havens for fraud.
Wow, you know the more I read about Biden, the more i'm convinced he really is a wanna-be gangster. He was the senator in Delaware for almost 4 decades, so I wonder how much he was involved with influencing the laws that made Delaware such a safe haven for shell companies...like a mobster running a business front. His first family mysteriously died in a car accident, though Hunter and Beau survived...but I wonder if Hunter's problems stemmed from feeling like daddy never wanted him.
Not to mention Joe sending Hunter around to foreign countries to be his "money man". He's the "big guy" who needs his 10% cut, after all. Fitting that Rudy is going after him for this election fraud, as Rudy took down the mob in NYC.
The number one reason Delaware LLCs are used in my city is to hide payoffs to politicians and well-connected folks. It is the only way to get around disclosure laws on the city's books. Two separate lawsuits showed that the Delaware LLCs are impenetrable by the public.
I am saying Delaware IS the number one state in the nation for corporate fraud because of these loopholes and the fact they do not automatically report to the federal government - unless requested. If you are going to be involved with a shady business, money laundering, or otherwise cheat. DE WY and NV are the top 3 and all have similar non-reporting.
I understand you are trying to flex your corporate law knowledge... but your points are incongruous to the conversation.
"Under Delaware law, members can form an LLC without having to place their name on any public documents—eliminating the paper trail." I'm not going to go on and on about the relevance because you clearly know what I am getting at.

Delaware is a haven for fraud? Guess that’s why Biden lives there. Or am I confusing cause and effect? 🤔

This is important to add. It may be good for fraud but it is also good for business. Don't hate the state. Hate the deepstate.
Delaware is the #1 state for corporations because they have the most developed body of corporate law.

Belize is where you go for that, not the U.S.
DE is used for its corporate law, WY is used by banks/financial companies because of extremely friendly usury laws. Don’t know about NV.
