Maybe we could even ink voters' fingers to ensure they're not voting at multiple precincts, too. Then we could be on par with advanced, civilized places like Iraq.
You should have to show up with voter ID, photo ID (government issued), and last 4 digits of social security #.
Also, they need to ask a few simple questions like...
-Who is the governor of your state?
-Who is the Senate majority leader?
-Who is the house majority leader?
-What date was the Declaration of Independence ratified?
If you can't answer those correctly, your vote should be disqualified. You can't be trusted to vote responsibly. Low information votes are just as bad as fraudulent votes.
Landowner voters. Let's ban foreign ownership of US land, and then we'll talk. Also, what's wrong with renting? I think being a net tax payer or having served in the military earns you the right to vote. Citizens only, of course.
Having paid more in taxes than they have received in benefits should be the line to vote. If you are a ward of the state, you shouldn’t be allowed to steer the ship.
Exactly right. IF you vote absentee, you are still required to obtain a ballot from the county official somehow in person -either from a spouse or agent, etc.
And it comes with a plastic envelope that gets priority franking.
Ordinary votes being "mailed in" <cough cough> is the most asinine thing in human history.
I was in the military and voted absentee, and during that time I had the opportunity to serve as an exchange personnel with the Canadian Forces. And in Canada, along with the fact that they had to show ID at the polls, even absentee voters didn't mail in their ballots. They voted at a remote site, IN-PERSON, and then their votes were processed to the correct riding (district).
Mail in ballots should only be issued to those who can submit a Request to get one because they physically cannot be present during election day. My state sent out applications to every registered voter practically begging for you to take a mail in ballot Because MUY Covid.
They did not have to go that far. They could have just had people still request absentee ballots if they were concerned about Covid and follow the normal process for absentee ballots. Never should have been every single person gets mailed a ballot.
Every lefty state made a huge deal about making a super special process for getting mail in ballots due to COVID instead of just saying follow the normal process for requesting a ballot by YOU contacting the appropriate office by a certain date and instead had the STATE contact the person they think is you, but can't prove.
There should be no such thing as a mail in ballot.
It’s a lofty goal, but I think we could make it.

That would eliminate most of Minneapolis😂
double space between the sentences you want to be bulleted.
Dems would send mailers with answer key
Bring back "treating", our old custom of landowner-voters making important decisions by which politician paid for the better booze.
... I kid, but I wish there were an opposition party worth trusting with a process like that.

And unlike the left we're smart enough to know the difference between a true absentee ballot and mass mail in.
Yes we are.

A'men , except for military absentee.

Yes I can't understand why the US soldiers abroad aren't made to vote at a poll set up at their base.
I think it should be this way for the US military as well and I don't understand why it's not.

Complete recipe for fraud.
