What would prevent PA - or any county / ward - simply saying that they received all votes before 8pm on Election Day...they just took a lot longer to count them. This is a sincere question, and the only fly in the ointment that I see. Who could definitively prove otherwise?
The bit from Alito about the court not knowing and that some counties had been ignoring the segregation directive, is hugely important, IMO. He’s setting the stage to say that all mail in ballots will be thrown out if not segregated.
Also, what’s he referencing when he says he’s immediately referring it to “the Conference”?
