Dem won by 104, which was eventually found to be in error.

Rep ends up winning by 1127.

Total error 1231

1231 / 32659 = 0.0376

Total votes for presidential race in Michigan right now is ~ 5,442,000. Just take 3.8% of that real quick at ~207,000 votes.

James has 2,636,892

Total: 5,358,099 * 0.038 = 203607

Corrected for Peters: 2721207 - 203607 = 2517600

Corrected for James: 2636892 + 203607 = 2840499

Looks a lot closer to the margins before the overnight bump on election night.

I think there's a lot of caching going on to prevent DDOS attacks, so I can't edit. My 0.38 is supposed to be 0.038. All of the other numbers are still accurate. Just a typo.
