All kidding aside, he looked either enraged, spooked, sad, or nervous. This whole speech was stuttering and slurring, but not his usual gaffes. He was trying to keep up, but his mind was totally elsewhere.
I wonder if he wanted to give his acceptance speech, but was denied by his handlers because of the SCOTUS ruling. Or was he scared about what is coming and uneasy because they are forcing him to go out there and spew lies? Maybe he's sad because his son is an incestuous pedophile. (Or he's sad because his son got caught and it ruins his public kisses with his granddaughter). Or maybe he's nervous he's about to be suicided or arrested.
