You should use Indian Voter machines. Nothing connected to the voting machines. We double check it before voting begins. All both agents of Political parties and random persons brought by them are allowed to vote for samples and if the votes are right only then they proceed. After the votes are placed then they seal the only part where machine can be opened up with all the signs of the booth agents signed in a letter covering the entrance and then sealed by the Election commission. Also to double check, there is a vote receipt by paper ie when a person votes the symbol of the party he voted will be printed under the voting machine which the voter can verify it for themselves. At the time of counting of ballots samples of this print verification is selected at random to improve the accuracy. Very hard for scammers and hackers to commit voter fraud.

Ind-eed! (sorry)

But yes. Clearly, it's easy to engineer the necessary solutions to secure your elections--if doing so is actually one of your goals!

The machines can only store 2000 votes. For eg If we take Varanasi PM Modi's constituency. Eligible voters are close to 2 million. So you need 1000 machines and 1000 election booths. Modi won by close to half a million votes. So to defeat him you need to rig close to 300 machines in different locations. Each booth has close to 20 official (minimum) doing their duties including security. So you need to bribe over 6000 officials to change the votes. I think its better to use that money for campaigning than do this kind of operation in the first place.

Good shit. No one can make fraud COMPLETELY impossible. Just make it prohibitively costly and logistically difficult.
